Our judges are professionals with college degrees or ample work experience in any of our Fair Categories. Judges must be able to commit to a majority of the day of the fair as your schedule will look something like this:

 

            9-11:30am Project Preview (your time to view projects & papers WITHOUT the

                                students present -- you can arrive ANY time after 9am)

            11:30-Noon  Box Luncheon and BRIEF Judge's Meeting

            Noon-3pm This timeframe is fluid and completely dependent upon the number

                                of projects and judges in your category because students are

                                dismissed according to category as soon as judge's deliberations

                                in each category are complete.

 

Our Judges are VERY IMPORTANT people to us and are a VITAL component of our Fair -- please contact our Fair Director  if you have special needs or have further questions!

After our Fair Director has contacted you and obtained the necessary personal information, you will be added to the official listing of judges for this January's Fair.  With approximately one month remaining before the actual Fair Date, you will be mailed a Judge's Packet that has ALL of the information you will require regarding your role as a Science Fair Judge and the judging process at the WCA Science and Mathematics Fair.
